Has the Young Lady Proposed Today?

#My Sugar Daddy Wants to Marry Me Every Day#

Chi Yue urgently needed a large sum of money, so she took a job as a stand-in for the heiress Shi Qing.

She heard that Shi Qing's first love was going to be abroad for two years, so Chi Yue signed a two-year contract.

During the contract, Shi Qing was aloof and taciturn, only interested in "doing it" and never talking. But Chi Yue was gentle and considerate, providing impeccable service. She even knew exactly what position Shi Qing wanted just from a glance.

When the two years were up, Chi Yue had made a fortune and was perfectly satisfied. She dusted herself off, ready to make room for the heiress's first love, who was about to return home. But when she opened the door, the first thing she saw was the heiress holding out a huge engagement ring.

Chi Yue, who had been about to move aside, was dumbfounded: How did I, the stand-in, end up becoming the real deal?

--

Shi Qing fell for a little streamer who played bit parts. Once, the other woman got drunk and stumbled into her arms.

To have a legitimate reason to keep her around, Shi Qing made up a lie, telling her she looked like her first love.

After one wild night, Shi Qing signed a stand-in contract with her the next morning.

She thought that two years should be enough time to make their relationship real. So whenever she declared her claim to the world, she called Chi Yue, "My wife, Yueyue..."

Until, two years later, Chi Yue packed up to leave. Shi Qing sat by the bed holding an engagement ring, bewildered. Had she not treated her well enough? Had she not given her enough?

--Keeping the moon captive in the name of a stand-in. Shi Qing

[No stand-in, pure sweetness, no melodrama. Good bedtime reading, and it should be quite short.]

Theme: Be independent and self-reliant.
