My Wife Is a Paranoid Little Fool

A rational, cold doctor who regrets what he did and imprisons his lover, top (Qu Ji)

As the best-known doctor at XX Psychiatric Hospital, Qu Ji is privately called by his colleagues "a medical robot with extreme rationality and extreme good looks."

He never imagined that one day he would be imprisoned by a little fool in a hospital room.

The little fool seems to love him very much. His eyes are always brimming with tears as he chokes out a soft question about why Qu Ji never comes to see him. He's like a little animal with no sense of security, crawling into Qu Ji's arms at night and crying himself to sleep while holding him.

The little fool really is very foolish. He has no idea that he's imprisoned a doctor. He carelessly exposes his soft neck and pulse, leaves a sharp knife within Qu Ji's reach, and can't even cook. Most of the time, Qu Ji has to look after him.

Qu Ji escapes with ease and has the little fool admitted to a psychiatric hospital for treatment.

Watching the little fool, pale and helpless, surrounded by doctors, Qu Ji thinks in a daze: Without me holding him, will the little fool still be able to sleep at night?

On the day the little fool is discharged, Qu Ji initially doesn't want to go.

But he spends all his days distracted, constantly thinking of the little fool sleeping peacefully in his arms at night.

In the end, Qu Ji still goes. He tells himself this will just be the last time he sees the little fool.

A doctor watching the little fool's discharge says his condition has mostly stabilized and he won't lose control like before.

Standing on the second floor, Qu Ji frowns at the little fool walking out of the hospital entrance and asks, "Why is he trembling?"

The doctor replies somewhat nonchalantly, "I heard they used desensitization therapy during treatment. He's having a bit of a stress response."

The little fool is cured. He no longer cries so easily and always looks at people with a gentle smile.

His only minor side effect is that he's now afraid of doctors, especially Qu Ji.

Qu Ji regrets what he did.

He redecorates his home to resemble the little fool's house, then one night secretly brings the sleeping little fool back to his place. Finally, he puts on handcuffs of his own accord, hoping to resume the life he had when the little fool held him captive.

But as soon as the little fool wakes and sees him, his face turns deathly pale, and he stumbles out the door.

Qu Ji freezes. He opens the handcuffs, which are nothing more than a formality, and walks out of the bedroom. He sees the little fool sitting collapsed in front of the entrance, tears on his lashes as he retches again and again.
