My Sword Is Untamed

Li Liyuan once had a master. He was the Sword Saint of Xiandu, and he taught her the way of the sword. One day, he left without a word, leaving only a letter telling her that she was the princess of Xiandu, the "Immortal Phoenix" born under the Star of the Emperor.

Li Liyuan once had a senior fellow disciple. After her master left, he accompanied her to Xiandu and helped her destroy several of its great houses, allowing her to become its ruler.

Li Liyuan once had a nemesis. She couldn't remember who he was, but she kept having the same dream: he pinned her to a white birch tree and let her blood soak into the snowy plains sealed away from all demons.

Li Liyuan once had an opponent. He was the leader of the demon clan, sealed by Xiandu for a thousand years. Immortals and demons could never coexist. She pierced his heart with an arrow, subdued the demons, and claimed the throne of the Immortal Emperor.

Later, Li Liyuan learned that they all shared the same name: Xie Xuege.

Every step she took was a path he had wanted to walk but could not.

He was both her guide and a martyr for the cause.

Reading notes:

1. A rebellious, unruly female lead X an aloof male lead. The male lead has many secret identities, and their love is fated. The blurb is tragic, but the ending is HE.

2. An original world setting, an ensemble cast, and plenty of plot involving the second and third male leads.

3. The final book in the female lead's coming-of-age saga, with a serious tone.

Theme: Only independence of thought is true freedom.
