She, Si Liming

Si Li was born with a "golden spoon" in her mouth, while Jiang Xiumu was raised by Old Master Si to "guard the house and protect the grounds."

When they were kids, Jiang Xiumu carried both their schoolbags as he followed Si Li to school.

When Si Li got into a fight, Jiang Xiumu took the punches for her.

Even after they grew up, their relationship didn't change much, except that their locations expanded.

In bed, Si Li would say she was cold, and he would turn over to hold her.

When Si Li said she was annoyed, Jiang Xiumu would silently put on his clothes and get out.

*

At the height of one of their worst fights, Si Li pointed at his nose and threatened, "When I get married, you'll be my best man, and my kid will call you Uncle!"

The usually taciturn man finally couldn't take it anymore. His veins bulging with anger, he snapped,

"Si Li, you bastard!"

He grabbed her wrist with one hand and pinned her against the wall.

Tugging off his tie, Jiang Xiumu clenched his back teeth. "Why wait until later?"

"If you want a baby, let's start tonight."

Note:

1. Both leads are each other's first and only partner, and the ending is happy. Friends-to-lovers. The male lead is pure in both body and mind.

2. The story involves the entertainment industry, but the setting is fictional and should not be mapped onto real life.

3. It is very, very melodramatic.

Theme: Live well and keep striving.
