Pei Zhiyun is a quiet, well-behaved girl whose motto is to think of others first, even if it eats her up inside.
The phrases she says most often are:
"Okay."
"Thank you."
"It's fine / No problem."
"Sorry to trouble you."
But what college student doesn't have a breakdown now and then? Deep inside, she has a rebellious beast.
After enduring one double standard too many, Pei Zhiyun decides that if she can't beat them, she'll join them. Better to make other people worry than to torment herself.
She randomly picks someone to experiment on and sends a friend request with a message:
"Don't ask who I am. Fall in love with me."

One night, months later, Lu Siyi finishes showering and realizes that the message he sent two hours ago still hasn't received a reply.
He raises an eyebrow and sends a question mark.
After a long while, Pei Zhiyun replies: "Do you think I don't have anything else to do all day? Stop controlling me!"
Lu Siyi grabs his jacket and heads out, thinking: What did she say the last time he went five minutes without replying?
--"What are you even doing? Are you really that busy?!"
Pei Zhiyun finally breathes a sigh of relief after finishing her deadline. The next second, she picks up her phone and nearly drops it when she sees the message:
"Come downstairs when you're done."
The young man is wearing a varsity jacket, standing by a tree with his head down and his phone in one hand. His expression is calm. It's obvious he's waiting for someone, and the girls around the dorm keep glancing back at him.
Pei Zhiyun awkwardly makes her way downstairs, gripping the hem of her clothes. She stammers, "Um, I'm sorry..."
"Good." Lu Siyi slips his phone back into his pocket and looks down at her.
"So you're only a hypocrite with me, huh?"
