A Concubine's Maid, But I Fought My Way Out

Warning: I can't understand what readers find satisfying about ancient-style stories involving concubines, bedchamber attendants, and kept women, so I put the heroine in a similar situation and wrote this deranged story based on how things might play out.

At its core, this story opposes setups where a heroine starts out in a lowly position and somehow ends up with a happy ending alongside her exploiter. Sorry, my views are extreme. I just can't understand it.

"W079, welcome to this novel's world, or rather, this merged novel world."

"You may have lost some memories, and you may not understand your current situation, but that's all right, W079. You are the angriest and bravest among us. You are full of fighting spirit and determined to resist all oppression and injustice. You needn't concern yourself with worldly conventions or rites."

"As a mission-taker, go. This time, your orders are to destroy, and to save; to stay mad, and to stay clear-headed. Your actions will soothe the anger and resentment of countless people, and will also bring them the painful clarity of awakening."

The heroine is referred to only by her number. Or rather, she isn't entirely human in the conventional sense.

Feel free to post anything in the comments that doesn't violate the core spirit of a certain 1848 manifesto. Vent, discuss, whatever. I won't proactively delete anything.

World One: The obsessive crown prince's lowly bedchamber attendant

World Two: The young powerful official's bewitching concubine

World Three: A sixteen-year-old Yangzhou courtesan, peerless in beauty and talent

World Four: A brothel's leading courtesan, with an alluring appearance and a naturally seductive charm

That's more or less it.

Theme: Resist feudal ethics and pursue a better life
