After more than twenty years of hard work, Shen Muyan finally won the Best Actor crown at the age of thirty-five. But on his way to the awards ceremony, he got into a car accident and transmigrated into a parallel world, where he became an obscure actor who couldn't even get famous for being infamous.
When he arrived, he was sitting in the audience at the awards ceremony, in an inconspicuous seat near the back.
As award after award was handed out and the nominees' works appeared on the big screen, Shen Muyan frowned deeply.
That's it?! They can win awards for this?!!
That night, Shen Muyan stood out among a crowd of top-tier stars and got his first trending topic: #ShenMuyanDisdainfulFace#

Fang Yanyu became a director because he loved creating films and TV shows. His first short film won Best Director at a college film festival while he was still at university.
But just as he was overjoyed, he learned that he hadn't won because the judges liked his work. He'd won because he was the second son of the Fang Group.
After that, Fang Yanyu disappeared from the entertainment industry.
Until Shen Muyan appeared.
Watching Shen Muyan get interviewed for scowling at the awards ceremony, Fang Yanyu heard him say earnestly to the camera, "I think the prestige of these awards needs to be raised." The heart that had been dormant for so long finally stirred.
He found Shen Muyan and said, "You're not quite right. It's not the prestige of the awards that needs raising. It's the ceiling of the entertainment industry that needs raising."
He said, "Interested in turning the whole industry upside down with me?"

This is an entertainment industry held in the grip of capital. When there are too many lies, it's hard to tell what's real.
Then one day, a carefully crafted short film gave viewers accustomed to shoddy productions a fresh experience.
After a series of meticulously produced films and TV shows came out, viewers suddenly realized that joy could fill someone's eyes with stars, grief could be so quiet it became silence, period costumes could be colorful or made of rough homespun rather than just white gauze, and fight scenes could be filmed in a single continuous take instead of constant cuts...
A year later, #ShenMuyanDisdainfulFace# was trending again.
This time, the topic wasn't flooded with mockery and insults. Instead, people wrote one message after another: "Thank you, Director Fang and Shen Muyan, for curing my blindness."
That same day, the "Withering and Blooming" Studio appeared out of nowhere.
From then on, the entertainment industry entered a hellish regime of quarterly exams every three months and annual exams once a year. Anyone who failed had to stop working.
The entertainment industry really had been turned upside down.
