The Male Courtesan Top

A sickly, obsessive male courtesan love interest x a sunny, warm-hearted receiver

Recently, Gu Yilin has been dreaming that he enters the same harem danmei web novel every time, transmigrating into an ordinary townsperson whose name he can't even remember.

The original story describes him in just one passage: The man furtively eyed Su Zhao, the beloved protagonist, as he stepped down from the carriage. His face was full of wonder, and he couldn't help thinking, What a fair and handsome young man! One glance was enough to set his heart racing and leave him completely bewitched!

After using a side character's gaze to highlight the protagonist's beauty, the clichéd passerby never appeared again.

Gu Yilin wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, relieved that he had so few lines and hadn't transmigrated as a villain or as some unlucky character whose death was explicitly written into the original story.

His disreputable friends dragged him to a male brothel for a night of pleasure. He remembered that the original story had a male courtesan with a tragic past who was shown some kindness by the beloved protagonist, only to have his head chopped off by the jealous, twisted love interest.

He couldn't help feeling pity and sympathy, so he called for the courtesan to serve him.

The courtesan was old and past his prime, with a frail body. No matter how much makeup he wore, it couldn't hide the wrinkles at the corners of his eyes. He was also said to be extremely loose, and after so many bouts of incontinence, he had a strange smell that incense couldn't cover.

His friends all said Gu Yilin had peculiar tastes, picking someone nobody else wanted.

Gu Yilin only smiled and said nothing. He took the courtesan into a private room, then eagerly... started playing cat's cradle with him.

He wanted to save this poor soul who had fallen into a life of prostitution. Little did he know that after playing cat's cradle with him a few times, he would turn the courtesan into a complete madman.
