I'm Both the Top and the Bottom

A self-pairing, narcissistic romance.

Because Jiang Luo turned down a suitor's confession, the suitor's fans covertly wrote him into a melodramatic xianxia danmei novel.

The character based on him was a cunning, sinister junior disciple, a black lotus who was hopelessly in love with the universally adored protagonist shou, whom he regarded as his unattainable first love. The novel's possessive, yandere gong consequently became the black lotus's most hated rival.

To win the man he loved, the black lotus resolutely embarked on the road of demonic cultivation, becoming a villain with no way back.

As everyone knows, villains who oppose yandere gongs rarely meet a good end. After causing trouble for a full sixty-six chapters, the black lotus got killed off. Not only was he left without a body, but even after death, he was never allowed to rest in peace.

By this point, Jiang Luo's face had turned green. The author was a despicable little man, copying his name exactly and forcing it onto a villain.

Perhaps he was so furious at being insulted that he couldn't stop thinking about it, even in his dreams. By a twist of fate, he transmigrated into a book, entering that melodramatic xianxia novel and sharing a body with the black lotus villain created in his image.

Whenever the black lotus swooned over the universally adored protagonist shou, Jiang Luo would interrupt: "No matter how pretty he is, can he be prettier than you? Look in the mirror more often."

Eventually, the black lotus became obsessed with looking in the mirror. As he gently stroked his cheek, he gazed through the reflection's eyes at Jiang Luo, utterly infatuated.

"The prettiest one really is me."

When the black lotus went to pick a fight with the yandere gong, Jiang Luo hurried to stop him. "That guy's no good. Don't provoke him, or we'll both be done for."

The black lotus took his advice and kept his distance from the yandere gong, turning his attention to other things instead. He prepared another body for Jiang Luo.

Jiang Luo got his own body back. Before he could get used to it, the black lotus took his hand and said to him with deep affection, "You're me, and I'm you. Let's get married right here. You don't have any objections, do you?"
