Cheng Che lounged lazily in a soft chair, his hoodie pulled over his head so his face was hidden.
The girl's voice was timid as she ventured, "Hello, I'm Lin Shichu."
Cheng Che glanced up at her, then tapped his fingertips on the table, looking especially impatient.
A huge sign stood in front of them:
"No entry for minors."
"All gambling is subject to arrest. No credit."

The day they parted, a torrential rain fell on Yaoshan. Lin Shichu saw him for the last time beneath a bridge, her eyes red.
The boy beneath the bridge was covered in blood. He frowned at her through the sheets of rain, his voice painfully hoarse as he spoke. "If you're leaving, hurry up. Don't fucking pity me."

Woohoo, I confirmed that I finished reading this story about Lin Shichu and Cheng Che on August 27, 2025. The story goes back to April 27, when they first met. The two fateful people. The beginning of the story is that Lin Shichu just came to Yaoshan. After waiting for a long time without confidence, the driver said that someone would pick him up. The end of the story is that Lin Shichu came to Yaoshan again... But the difference this time is that she confidently called back to the driver and said that she had someone to pick her up. Cheng Che turned out to have a broken native family. It makes people feel pitiful, sympathetic, and distressed. But I met Lin Shichu because she saved him. When I watched the part separately, I was really sad and I actually cried. Maybe it was my innate ability to empathize that made me emotionally affected by them. I laughed for their happiness and cried for their pain. In such an unbearable swamp, a girl as gentle as the moonlight and as dazzling as the sun walked into his world and took him out of the swamp step by step. The feelings that have not flowed away with time in the eight years of separation will eventually be exposed to the sun after reunion. It is love that makes two imperfect people perfect. Because of love, two people can withstand time. Just like the line in JJ's song, "Fate brings us closer slowly." The fate between people is really wonderful.
