Cui Hua, a second-generation Judge Cui, goes down to the mortal world for her usual reincarnation and taste of life, but unexpectedly awakens her original memories.
The first thing she sees upon opening her eyes: keywords like favoring sons over daughters, a son dying tragically, and a daughter being used to trade lives leave her stunned...
The second thing she sees: her wealthy biological parents present a paternity test, and the fake heiress bursts out the door in tears. Cui Hua is already numb to this life built from a mash-up of trending topics.
I thought I was a supervisor visiting the countryside for an inspection, but you turned my life ledger into a short-video post, is that it??? Should I also thank you for not making me work overtime by writing in livestream fortune-telling and ghost-catching?
Unprincipled coworker: Actually, I wanted to. I just didn't expect the rules in the mortal world to be so strict about livestreaming content that promotes feudal superstition...
But there's no escaping the fate of working overtime. Cui Hua gets famous through livestreams of horror games and is invited to take part in a platform-produced paranormal-investigation educational variety show, intended to debunk feudal superstition through science...
Heroine: Are you kidding me? You're asking me, the very embodiment of feudal superstition, to educate people?
So, there's a strange shadow in an abandoned hospital, maniacal screaming in a school, and bizarre human shapes acting out of their minds in a village...
The heroine, numb from working overtime, jabs a pen into a female ghost's eye socket and calmly explains: It's a plastic bag blowing in the wind. The student is under too much pressure. Unsanitary water caused an infection... You viewers aren't very good this season. Can you please believe in science?
Viewers driven insane by the livestream: Do you want to listen to the words coming out of your own mouth? Does that sound like something a human would say???
Heroine: Thanks. I'm not human to begin with, so it makes sense for me to talk like a ghost.
(There is a male lead, but he doesn't get much screen time.)
Theme: Good and evil are always repaid in the end.
It looks so good. The more I watch, the more I will fall in love~
Judge Xiaohua is a boy
Wait wait, what the hell????
