No One Understands Cursed Spirits Better Than I Do

Xia Youjie had a dream. In it, he went from a law-abiding middle school student to a passionate sorcerer.

Xia Youjie: ? Wasn't I supposed to be the guy who got into Tokyo University?

After watching it all, he fell into deep thought.

Though the ending was frustrating and the journey bloody, what caught his attention most was the boy who smiled and greeted him, his best friend, Wutiao Wu.

He understood now. He, Xia Youjie, was the chosen one, reborn to change the bad ending and bring back his best friend's smile!

When he woke, reborn Xia Youjie was full of energy and ready for action, only to hear his mother knock and tell him to get up for breakfast and prepare for his exams.

"Jie, aren't you taking the amateur curse-user exam today? Get up early so you won't be late."

"That's right! Our whole family is counting on you to get into Tokyo Jujutsu University and bring honor to our name!"

Xia Youjie: ???

How had the jujutsu world, which had been on the brink of collapse, turned into this?

"What's gotten into you today? Look, isn't this your favorite idol, the youngest Grade One curse user in history, Wutiao Wu? He worked his way up through the exams, too..."

At the familiar face, Xia Youjie's pupils trembled.

Mom, times have changed...

As a curse manipulator from the old era (in his dream), Xia Youjie declared: No one understands how to tame curses better than I do!

So, Wu, times have changed. It's about time I got to be the strongest for once, right?

Premise: Haven't thought of one yet
