I'm Just an Utterly Ordinary Passerby Novelist

Maybe a rational, healing sort of story?

Includes breaking up canon couples.

May involve a little (a lot of) “everyone thinks the protagonist is a mastermind” plot.

Also known as: “I'm Obviously Just an Ordinary Person, So Why Does Everyone Keep Treating Me Like a Big Shot?”

01

You: Let's write a domineering CEO angst story.

Everyone: What a twisted depiction of reality, exposing how capital manipulates people and how women are powerless to resist their fate! The inequality between men and women, the way the class system oppresses ordinary people... Teacher, your ideas are so profound!

You: Was I writing that...? Did I write all that? Now that I think about it, I guess it does kind of have that vibe...

02

You: Let's write a farming and infrastructure-building story.

Everyone: The paradise you've depicted is so beautiful, with responsible leaders and peaceful common folk. Their small yet extraordinary lives are so happy they bring us to tears!

You type out a question mark.

03

You: Let's write something about being reborn or transmigrating.

Everyone: What a sad, tragic fate. Even after getting a second chance and becoming one of heaven's favored lucky ones, they still couldn't overcome the cruelty and oppression of reality? It's simply terrifying, pitiful, and tragic!

(Struggling on the brink of death) (Under attack) (Unable to get back up) (Flopping around like a fish)

You: Yes, that's right. That's me.

Theme: People who overthink everything can make things worse
