Sui Baozhu transmigrated into a book, finding herself in an old-school cultivation novel. The male lead was an aloof master who practiced the Path of Ruthlessness, and the female lead was a quirky, spirited junior sister.
Baozhu didn't care about the leads. The one she felt most sorry for was the vicious supporting female character, a fox demon from Qingqiu.
The book described her as follows: “She was as graceful as a startled swan, as lithe as a swimming dragon, with cinnabar between her brows and a slender waist like spring water.”
As a child, the fox demon was injured by the villagers. The male lead happened to pass by and saved her life.
After cultivating into human form, she slaughtered the village, then joined an immortal sect in an attempt to get close to the male lead.
The female lead accidentally discovered that she was a demon. Upon hearing that she had killed countless people, she captured her under the pretext of exterminating evil, then cut out her core and stripped her bones. She also handed her over to outer-sect disciples as a cultivation furnace, claiming that the fox demon's body could help them achieve immortality, which would count as a good deed.
After being violated and abused, the fox demon fell completely to the dark side and became a demon. She clawed her way out of the abyss, flesh and blood torn, and fought her way up the white jade steps, one step at a time. She raised her blade to cut off the female lead's head
Just then, the male lead arrived on his sword. The fox demon saw him and froze.
In that moment of hesitation, the male lead cut her down.
He held the weeping female lead in his arms and stepped over the vicious supporting character's corpse, never looking back.
Sui Baozhu wept bitterly. Sister, why did you hesitate? Why not kill that crazy couple and live your best life alone?
The next second, lightning flashed and thunder rumbled, and she appeared inside the book.

Baozhu hadn't transmigrated as the heroine or the villainess. She had become a village girl.
A beautiful, dignified little white fox was tied to a tree and whipped by the villagers, covered in wounds and barely alive.
If she remembered right, this was the vicious supporting character.
Later, she would exact her revenge by pulling out the villagers' tendons and bones and torturing them to death.
Baozhu's little face went pale. She pushed through the crowd, untied the fox, scooped it up, and ran for her life.
Oh no, she didn't want to die!

Baozhu brought the little fox home and carefully nursed it back to health. To keep the villainess from going down the wrong path, Baozhu often tugged on its ears and lectured it about having a healthy view of love:
“Men who cultivate immortality are all terrible. A female fox must never get close to them! You can't have children with them anyway. You should find yourself a handsome, honest male fox who's 180 centimeters tall and has an eight-pack!”
“And when you find him, remember to introduce me to someone too...”
The little fox lay in her arms, listening to the same old lecture with casual indifference. It gave a soft snort and lifted its long, narrow eyes.
Baozhu didn't know that during the transformation stage, a fox demon could choose whether to become male or female.

The little fox's time to transform finally came.
Sui Baozhu stayed by its side, not forgetting to remind it:
“Once you've transformed, you mustn't do evil. You have to be a good girl.”
She looked at the person on the bed and froze.
Wait, wasn't this supposed to be the vicious supporting character? How did he turn into a man?
In the next instant, the fox demon's eyes shimmered, cinnabar between his brows red as rouge. His long, pale legs, smooth as jade, pressed her beneath him as he stared at her intently.
“What's wrong, Baozhu? Are you dissatisfied?”
