He skips potions class to go to the kitchen, accidentally drops the class ingredients into a soup pot, and ends up brewing a sweet soup that makes dreams come true.

During the alchemy exam, he mistakenly tosses his rough draft in with the ingredients, then creates a new kind of magical fireworks.

His lucky deeds are too numerous to count. Before long, he's paid off his loans with patent fees and even saved a little extra.

So at last, he can... get a cat!

Padus used to be a cat demon. He never expected to transmigrate and become a potions teacher at a magic academy. Taking the attitude of "when in Rome, do as the Romans do," he settles into teaching.
