Jiang Ye was a sickly crown prince whom Shen Heqing had picked up from the snow. At the time, the ruler was incompetent and tyrannical, obsessed with immortality, while ghosts and monsters ran rampant throughout the capital.

The Four Great Evil Ghosts were especially notorious, wreaking havoc among the people. The common folk no longer believed in Buddha and worshipped ghosts and gods instead.

To save the people, Jiang Ye perished together with the Four Great Evil Ghosts. His bones, soaked in resentment, were buried deep underground.

Shen Heqing had been unable to stop Jiang Ye from dying. Grief-stricken, he spent his days in a daze, clutching a spirit tablet inscribed with the name of his deceased wife, Jiang Ye.

Then, more than a thousand years later, a natural disaster struck, and the sickly prince crawled out of his coffin once again.

A sickly top who's easy to kill but hard to keep dead x a fatherly bottom who doesn't say it, but loves him with all his heart.

A Chinese-style horror novel about someone from ancient times traveling to the modern day.
