[Frostpunk] Winter Is Coming

1872, a special year.

A Turkish astronomer announced to the French Academy of Sciences that he had discovered a new meteor shower. Earth's temperature began to drop, and scientists started researching heat-generating energy towers to fight the cold. Meteorologists began searching for the cause of the falling temperatures...

In 1886, the temperature dropped to minus 30 degrees. Under the direction of various nations, people began moving north, where coal was plentiful, and using steam power to combat the extreme cold. Many traveled to the frozen north, to the site of an energy tower, hoping to build humanity's last city.

And you are the leader of that city.

Fight the cold, disease, scarce resources, and hunger. Sustain the people's hope with laws and faith, keep their discontent to a minimum, build lighthouses, and search for survivors and supplies beneath the snow...

Meanwhile, there's the "Londoners," who divide the people; workers who insist on an eight-hour workday even in the bitter cold; and a populace on the verge of rioting. All these issues demand your attention...

The long winter has arrived. We must do everything we can to survive.

Just hold on for a few more days. We'll make it.
