Samatoki Aohitsugi's fondness for black hair and golden eyes seemed to have no particular reason behind it. Whether it was the black-haired Ichiro Yamada or Sasara with his golden eyes, both seemed to receive a little extra leniency from him.

This is mostly based on headcanons. I couldn't keep track of Bungo Stray Dogs' timeline, so I made everything up, especially since I'm crossing it over with Hypnosis Mic... But it shouldn't be a big deal, as the plot won't really involve the background details. The Bungo Stray Dogs timeline is set six to three years before Mori Ougai's coup, which means the H Era begins right after the battle on Tokoyami Island. Hisasuke is 19, Samatoki is 22, Yosano is 12, Kouyou Ozaki is 13, and Osamu Dazai is 9. (Dazai doesn't appear in the story; he's just here as an age reference.)

The main plot takes place in the third year of the H Era. Stories from the first year, including the TDD period, will appear as memories and the like.

Headcanon: Hisasuke is Kouyou's adoptive older brother.

A pure romance story.

Samatoki is 25 and 186 cm tall, while Hisasuke Ozaki is 22 and only 176 cm tall, so this is an older bottom and younger top pairing with a height difference.

Samatoki started pursuing Hisasuke at 20 and won him over shortly before turning 23, so they're now a steady couple who have been together for nearly three years.

Headcanon: Because Hisasuke exists, Samatoki's relationship with Ichiro and Nemu is only a little strained, not completely broken.

Hisasuke's ability can eliminate all mental damage and influence. It can directly erase Q's curse, a mental ability, making it a direct counter to Hypnosis Mics in a sense (it erases the microphone's hypnotic ability).
