Cyber Infection

[Draft blurb, 2024.11.27]

An unknown future

In a sticky forest of steel, humans barely scrape by, crawling through the shadows like ants.

In glittering neon towers, the powerful, doing nothing to deserve their positions, sink into song and wine.

Above the mechanical wasteland, human civilization is like a wavering spark. It never goes out, and can always kindle a wildfire in silence.

In a damp corner of the stage of history, an unknown virus is quietly spreading.

Its means of transmission are unknown, and its symptoms come in all shapes and forms. The only thing certain is that every mutation begins with changes in the brain.

Aishi transmigrates into the lower classes of society, where she struggles to survive among mountains of garbage. "Oh, I get it, it's a cyber virus!"

She just doesn't get it. She transmigrated into this trendy new world, and fine, she didn't get some identity that lets her bring an entire family to its knees, but why does she have to deal with cyber-trash every day? And why does it feel like she's getting special treatment?

Later, as Aishi finds herself caught in layer upon layer of mystery and danger, she discovers that her genetic makeup is the key to stopping the strange infection. Before long, all kinds of factions are watching her and fighting over her

Aishi: I'm sorry, I was wrong. I was so shallow. Please let me go back. I can spend the rest of my life getting along just fine with the garbage mountain.

Theme: Even in dire circumstances, you can strive to create a miracle of happiness
