Peak Master, You Change Your Tune Faster Than Turning a Page

Everyone at Qingyuan Peak knows that their peak master has a mercurial temper and changes moods at the drop of a hat.

Especially in front of Qian Hanyuan, the peak master's only direct disciple.

Qian Hanyuan is a diligent, dependable disciple. He works hard at cultivating so he can take over from his master, and never slacks off.

But first came petty people whispering behind his back, then came hypocrites openly mocking him.

Qian Hanyuan couldn't stomach it, and got into a fight that left him badly bruised and battered.

To his surprise, his dear master didn't comfort him. Instead, he turned around and gave him a hard smack.

Qian Hanyuan wondered what he'd done to deserve this.

People say a child's face is like the June weather: it can change in an instant.

His master's face was even more extreme. He changed moods faster than a page could turn!

The disciples quietly agreed: That's right. No argument there.
