Please don't compare it to real life. Lin Xi is the orphan of a fallen soldier. One of his eyes has been blind since birth. His greatest wish in life is to become a powerful soldier for his country, just like his father. But he knows he wouldn't pass the medical exam alone. No matter. He's disabled, but his resolve is strong. He can still serve his country in another profession. But Lin Xi has a secret: he's gay. He doesn't care what people think, but avoiding unnecessary trouble would be nice, so he hasn't made a big announcement about it. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned. While carrying out a volunteer mission, he accidentally slips from a pile of rubble several meters high while rescuing someone and hits his head. When he opens his eyes, he realizes he's transmigrated and even changed species. The bad news is, he's still disabled in his new species. The good news is, his disability won't keep him from serving. Lin Xi rubs his hands together. This transmigration worked out pretty well! Coming soon: Insectoid: Saving the Protagonist There are countless worlds, and anything is possible. Literary worlds exist as worlds of their own. Insectoid fiction is flourishing, and one such world is beginning to take shape. It's a world with plenty of potential. But in so many Insectoid novels, the female Insectoids are tortured until they're covered in blood, filling the world with resentment and causing one bug after another to appear. Some protagonists even die for no reason, nearly causing their worlds to collapse. To stabilize the Insectoid world, the Bureau assigns missions: as long as the protagonist survives, the world can keep running and gradually return to normal. 101 is a highly inspirational System. It recruits reliable hosts from countless worlds, choosing those on the verge of death to help it complete its missions. The 101 System issues a mission: "If you want a chance to start over, dear Host, your mission is to keep the protagonist alive." Having just transmigrated, he finds himself facing a scene of blood and whip marks. "System, the original owner killed someone!" System: "Could you calm down? It's just a domestic abuse scene." The Host faints. "System, I get a little dizzy at the sight of blood..." System: "..." What kind of useless Host did it bind itself to? Host: [He's so beautiful. In the moonlight, he looks like an elf untouched by the mortal world.] System: [You're attracted to men?!] The Host frowns. [You're the one with a dirty mind. You see dirt everywhere. I'm just offering sincere praise and admiration.] Later, the System is so exasperated it laughs. System: "Aren't you asexual?" Asexual Host: "We kissed, so I have to take responsibility and fulfill my duties as a partner." Host: "If I can't have something, then I can only destroy it." The System is horrified. "Aaaah! You can't kill the protagonist!" Then the System watches helplessly as the protagonist's hands and feet are fastened in exquisite chains, left at the Host's mercy. PS: A series of stories featuring a male Insectoid lead and a male protagonist. All involve transmigration of the soul. Theme: Pursue a beautiful life
