Satoru Gojo of Tokyo Jujutsu High was practically hated by everyone in the supervisory community.
"If no one else wants to, I'll do it." Back then, trainee supervisor Nagase Ryo raised her hand.
And from then on, almost by unspoken agreement, from trainee to seasoned veteran, Nagase was always cleaning up after Satoru Gojo, and even the whole of Tokyo Jujutsu High.
One day, while she was driving three young students who had just enrolled at Tokyo Jujutsu High, they chatted.
"Come to think of it, Nagase, aren't you only in charge of Gojo-sensei?"
"Hmm." She answered casually, "Not exactly. Every now and then, I'm assigned to help other Jujutsu Sorcerers at Tokyo Jujutsu High. I'm familiar with the place, after all."
"But you've worked with Gojo-sensei for years, right, Ryo? How do you put up with him?"
"I just... treat him normally. He's not actually that bad. You make him sound like some kind of disaster."
The three students exchanged glances, then asked hesitantly, "Don't tell us you like Gojo-sensei, Nagase?"
"...It's not him."
Scandalous gossip! The students started listing names. "Gojo-sensei? Nanami-senpai? Haibara-senpai would be great too!"
"Wrong guesses, all of you," Nagase said. The car stopped smoothly in front of the infirmary. She turned off the engine, looked back at the children, and said gently, "All right, out you go. Even if it's just a minor injury, go ask Doctor Ieiri to treat you properly."
She pushed the howling children into the infirmary. A doctor with a mole beneath her eye was sitting in a chair. She turned toward them at the sound.
Nagase Ryo smiled.
