They appear only a few times, nothing more than background characters, but it's an easy, laid-back job.
So the Hosts transmigrate into these passerby roles, ready for a vacation. However...
[World One] The Passerby Classmate at an Elite Academy
Gentle, secretly scheming pursuer × prickly, arrogant love interest
The transfer student gets cornered in the changing room by the protagonist's love interest, who confesses to him. Song Shu happens to open the door as the passerby. His wet white shirt clings to his waist. He adjusts his slipping gold-rimmed glasses. "Sorry, carry on."
[World Two] The Immortal Venerable's Path to Enlightenment
Sickly beauty pursuer × says one thing, means another love interest
The Immortal Venerable publicly breaks off his engagement to attain enlightenment, pointing his sword at his fiance's heart.
As the passerby, Xu Jibai is sweeping leaves from the altar to ensure the Heart-Piercing Sword Formation can be activated without a hitch.
But he is caught in the sword's qi, and the white silk covering his eyes drifts to the ground.
As he falls, someone catches him around the waist. Two anxious voices sound by his ear: "Are you hurt?"
[World Three] The Invisible Trainee on an Idol Survival Show
Sunny, cheerful pursuer × gloomy love interest
The mentor pursuer arranges to meet the protagonist's love interest in the practice room. He and passerby He Zhuo are separated by only a curtain, and He Zhuo happens to catch them meeting in secret.
Fresh from dance practice, He Zhuo sweeps his sweat-damp hair back, raises an eyebrow, and is about to speak.
The protagonist pursuer and love interest grab his arms at the same time. "Let me explain."
Meanwhile, the practice room cameras are livestreaming.
[World Four] An NPC in an Infinite-Flow Dungeon
Jiang Fei is the doomed "guide NPC" in a horror dungeon, routinely shoved out by players to take hits for them. A muffled groan comes from the chaos. The players fall silent at once and turn toward the source of the sound.
The System shrieks: "You need a scream to trigger the trap! Why are you panting!?"
Jiang Fei: "What are you talking about... It just hurt too much, that's all."
The passerby follows the plot diligently, but the protagonists refuse to cooperate...
In the end, the System breaks down: Is this right or not!?
