Her New Pet [GB]

Oweila is a duchess of the kingdom. Recently, she has been in a terrible mood. Her beloved pet, a parrot named "Young Master Borgia," has died of old age. Her subordinates bring her a gift to comfort her in her grief. Inside a cage half her height is a young man with porcelain-white skin and long black hair. His body is covered in scars. Silent, he curls up in the cage with his knees drawn to his chest, his dark eyes like misted glass. He is a slave, a pitiful "doll" who has shut away his heart after some unknown ordeal. Oweila accepts the gift, putting him in the place of her dead pet parrot. Her new pet is kept in the basement. She takes meticulous care of him and dresses him up, as if they were playing house. Mending a broken doll is a rather entertaining game. He is the strongest member of the Assassins' Alliance. His latest mission is to assassinate a powerful duchess. An assassin kills with a single strike. Until the mission succeeds, he must not reveal the slightest weakness.
