A Literary Spirit in Yokohama

Tsushima Shuji, who once wrote under the pen name Dazai Osamu, is a gentle, frail literary spirit whose true nature has been twisted, giving her the trait of [Innocent Monster]. She wanders ceaselessly until one day she meets a child wearing a black coat and bandages. Though very young, he seems weighed down by weariness. The child tells her his name is Dazai. When she meets him, he is by the river, his coat soaked by the rushing water. Tsushima: Hmm... I understand. I understand all too well. She takes the young Dazai home with her, and settles in Yokohama. Raising a child who is far too much like you, yet also very different, is a strange and wonderful thing. Tsushima Shuji simply lets the child grow as he pleases, watching over him with calm detachment. Without realizing it, she meets many people along the way. Chuuya, the young leader of a group called the Sheep, who worships her blindly; her young pen pal, Oda Sakunosuke; the bar called Homra; the young model Enoshima Jun, whom she finds strange; and Mr. Mori, who was once very close to her but is now the leader of the Port Mafia... Time flies. She forms bonds with many people, and even Dazai, whom she raised, begins to look at her differently. Shuji: This has to be a doomed relationship... Please, don't go expecting things from her without asking. She's a Casanova who stirs the hearts of others, then walks away unscathed; a rogue literary figure from the No Longer Human school, who abandons people yet is still remembered as "a good child like a god." Now she has ascended to the Throne of Heroes. She is a Caster, a mage of rainbows and mist.
