The Tang Dynasty Crown Prince's Daily Meltdowns

Li Chengqian, reborn after living two lives, has returned to the Tang Dynasty. His father is the emperor, his mother is the empress, and his younger brothers are all eyeing him like hawks.

The good news is that he's still the crown prince.

The bad news is that he just injured his leg and beat up a younger brother who'd been secretly laughing at him.

Li Chengqian: ...What a start, a royal flush right from the start. Forget it, I'll just coast through life.

When Li Tai starts jumping around and making trouble, Li Chengqian rolls up his sleeves and beats him up, then adds a few taunts for good measure.

"You really think the whole world revolves around you? Better appreciate that title of Prince of Wei while you still have it. Keep pushing your luck and Father might strip you of it one day."

Li Tai: ...He knew Li Chengqian was up to no good. He beat him up and still had to curse him out. He was going to tell Father.

Li Shimin, passing by at just the right moment: He isn't deaf.

Li Zhi, still a little runt, has become Li Chengqian's favorite younger brother. Li Chengqian never lets him go without good food, good drink, or fun things to do.

Li Zhi is deeply moved, until one time he sleeps in the crown prince's chambers and Li Chengqian tries to brainwash him while he pretends to be asleep.

"Good little brother, has your big brother treated you well? Remember to make me a prince after you take the throne. Better yet, give me a rich fief. Otherwise, I'll hang a noose outside your bedroom door."

Li Zhi, pretending to sleep, trembles with fear: ...Big brother, you can't say things like that.
