Looking at the terrifying monsters that fill his room, he thinks helplessly, I really have always been sick.
The monsters sing him lullabies at night, clumsily comfort him when he's sad, and chase off anyone who bullies him...
Qiao Sheng thinks that even if they're only his hallucinations, he'll love them forever.
One day, the interstellar world makes contact with another universe. Humanity is powerless to resist and can only watch as powerful, terrifying monsters enter their worlds.
Everyone watches in terror as the monsters sweep through every corner, seemingly searching for something.
It isn't until they see the monsters carefully lift Qiao Sheng after he falls that humanity realizes
This race, known as the Canlaisi, has finally found the treasure they hold dearer than anything else.
