God's Think Tank

[The moment you open it, you become God]

Maybe my parents didn't consult a fortune-teller when they named me. My name has the character for "grind" in it, so I was destined to be a wage slave.

Tan Juan has been a wage slave since the day she was born.

She fought her way through mountains of homework, graduated from an okay university, then worked herself to the bone at a company until she finally managed to make a down payment on a tiny 40-square-meter apartment.

Then, as she came home at two in the morning after working overtime, she saw something shocking below her building:

A wasteland mutant and a hunter squad were engaged in a chase through the neighborhood.

The mutant lifted her apartment building with one hand and hurled it at the hunter squad.

The good news: The hunters were unharmed, and the mutant was killed in return.

The bad news: Tan Juan's home was gone.

The even worse news: She still had thirty years of mortgage payments to make.

Tan Juan: You can all go to hell!

Just as she was sinking into despair, she picked up a coin. The next moment, she heard a heated argument in her mind.

"Join the mutants and help destroy the world! This messed-up world doesn't deserve to exist! Hahahaha, let's all go down together!"

"You haven't avenged your home yet, so what the hell are you talking about? Join the hunter squad, grab a big blade, and hack the Japanese invaders... no, hack the mutants right in the head!!"

Tan Juan: ?

Do you want to destroy this chaotic city that has lost all order, or become the hero who saves this wasteland?

Do you want to keep grinding yourself to the bone in this chaotic era, or join me in fighting our way in and out of the shadows?

But the most important question right now is:

Do you want to join God's think tank and play a game with me, choosing between saving the world and destroying it?

Theme: Study hard and don't take on a mortgage.
