After My Brooding Childhood Friend Took the Throne, He Insisted on Marrying Me

Du Yueting came from a family of military commanders, a house that had produced one renowned general after another. They guarded the borders and defended their country, earning countless military honors.

Worried that the family might grow too powerful and overshadow the throne, they sent Du Yueting to serve as the Crown Prince's companion from childhood, as a show of loyalty.

The Crown Prince, Long Junyi, was as bright and virtuous as the moon, humble and courteous, and in the eyes of the people, a future benevolent ruler.

Du Yueting adored the Crown Prince and followed him every day.

"Crown Prince, wait for me!"

"Crown Prince, try this!"

"Yueting loves the Crown Prince most of all."

They were inseparable. Everyone said that if Du Yueting were a girl, she would surely become the Crown Prince's perfect match and one day be crowned empress.

The idle chatter gradually reached the Crown Prince's ears.

He glanced at Du Yueting, who was grinding ink for him, and his phoenix eyes lifted with a hint of amusement.

The Crown Prince, who seemed like a celestial being to the world, did something unprecedentedly bizarre and unconventional:

He petitioned the emperor for permission to marry Du Yueting.

But Du Yueting was a man. How could he fulfill the royal family's duty to produce heirs?

Rumors spread through the capital, leaving both the imperial family and the Du family disgraced.

Out of regard for the Du family's generations of loyalty, the emperor personally arranged a marriage for Du Yueting so as not to damage the bond between ruler and subject.

Three marriage arrangements were made, and all three were thwarted by the Crown Prince.

At last, the emperor granted Du Yueting's wish to enlist. He went to guard the border and was forbidden to set foot in the capital again.

That night, the Crown Prince knelt in the Hall of Mental Cultivation for the entire night, begging his father to revoke the order.

A year later, Du Yueting received an edict from the new emperor, ordering him to return to the capital and marry, to become empress and rule the world.

When they met again, the once humble and courteous Crown Prince had become volatile, fierce, and ruthless:

"Yueting, no one can stop me from making you my empress now."

Dreaming guide:

※ Beautiful, sweet-talking bottom and fierce, ruthless top

※ 1v1, both are each other's first, and they dote on one another. A sweet little story.

※ The dynasty is modeled on the Tang, but I'll change things as needed, so don't take it too seriously~
