I Support My Husband by Making Xuan Paper

Li Guining, an inheritor of the art of Xuan paper-making, has a bright future and no romantic experience. One day, he transmigrates and becomes a spoiled, married great-great-grandson of a wealthy family.

Just as he fantasizes about embracing a beautiful husband and sitting on a mountain of wealth, reality deals him a brutal blow:

The original owner neglected his husband until they grew apart, squandered the family fortune until it fell into decline, and, worst of all, left behind an enormous debt!

Li Guining: What kind of good-for-nothing was the original owner?

Looking at his husband's indifferent gaze and his grandmother's exasperated expression, Li Guining makes up his mind: win his husband back and pay off the huge debt!

Fortunately, the original owner's family has been in the paper-making business for generations. He leads the household workers in making Xuan paper, and as the business improves, so does their relationship.

Just as everything is heading in the right direction, disaster strikes, and Li Guining is thrown into prison.

Li Guining: Why is the road to winning my husband over so full of hardship?

Shen Aoyue is a prodigy at calligraphy and painting, but one careless moment leads him to marry a notorious wastrel from Youzhou. His married life is miserable.

As he watches the Li family prosper under his husband's management, Shen Aoyue's frozen heart begins to thaw.

But just as he thinks everything is finally improving, his husband is arrested and thrown in prison.

Shen Aoyue: Why is my husband always getting into trouble?

Gentle, considerate, devoted top & proud, aloof beauty bottom

The age gap is confusing: the top is thirty before transmigrating and twenty afterward.

Whether they're both inexperienced is confusing, too. The top was a lifelong bachelor, but the original owner was not chaste.

The bottom is chaste.

The setting is based on the Song Dynasty, with some original additions.
