The Sheng family has a daughter, bright as the moon.
Sheng Mingyue became the number one sword immortal in the Nine Provinces at sixteen. At seventeen, she entered the Three Heavens Demon Domain and challenged the Seven Sword Demon Ancestors. At eighteen, she dueled a sword fanatic from the human realm, and after losing, flew into a rage and wiped out his sect. At nineteen, she colluded with the Three Heavens Demon Domain, conquered Chuxian Province, and became its ruler. At twenty, she died in Chuxian Province, dragging her parents, friends, and relatives down with her. The entire Sheng family was exterminated because of her.
Whenever people speak of her life, they cannot help but sigh over the fall of a heaven-blessed prodigy.
"Sheng Mingyue was born a genius, but sadly, her state of mind was poor. She lost to jealousy and went astray. What a pity, what a pity!"
The young man who had just been released from the Demon-Sealing Prison turned around and looked at the girl panting as she climbed the mountain behind him. "Isn't that you they're talking about?"
Su Xiuxiu glared up at him, cheeks puffed in indignation. "What nonsense! Right now, I'm just a delicate little beauty who can't even hold a sword! How could I compare to the most beautiful sword immortal in the Nine Provinces?"
The boy remembered how she had rescued him from the Demon-Sealing Prison and silently looked up at the sky.
Keep pretending!
