A Cannon Fodder in a Newspaper's Western Fantasy Comic

The Magic Throne, a Western fantasy manga about leveling up.

But its ending is a dark, bleak tragedy that leaves readers scarred.

Lei Yina Du is a would-be overpowered protagonist, a classmate of Keli during their formative years at Sevorei School of Magic.

But he starts off as a cannon-fodder character, sentenced to death by the Inquisition.

Lei: I'm at the trial, and I just awakened my memories of the manga. How do I survive? Asking online, urgent!

System: For the sake of sales and popularity, debut as a magical boy, Lei!

And so Lei embarked on an irreversible journey to become the greatest angler in the Western fantasy world, casting his net wildly to rescue people.

Rescuing himself, his teachers, his classmates, and eventually even the gods.

The herbology professor, who lived for revenge, was supposed to swallow poisonous herbs upon learning of his enemy's death.

Lei: An out-of-print poisonous herb from a thousand years ago? Nutritious! Om nom nom!

The leader of the greatest anti-god faction was supposed to forge his life into a blade for the overpowered protagonist to use in killing the gods.

Lei: An out-of-print mineral from a thousand years ago? Nutritious! Om nom nom!

The overpowered protagonist who kills the heavens, the earth, and the gods...

Lei: An out-of-print overpowered protagonist? Nutritious! Om... wait, I can't nom on this one.

Overpowered protagonist: Then I'll do it. Sweetheart, you're delicious. Thanks for the meal.

Anyway, as long as you're all happy.

After The Magic Throne: Reborn started serializing

The forum:

[It's a white-haired beauty! My destined wife, sob!]

[Let's discuss: What is Lei's background, exactly? Is there anyone he's met who doesn't have some kind of connection to him?]

[Anyone ship God x Lei? A fake believer and a real god, that's a good one!]

[Let's fight, poster above! Keli is canon, and the protagonist group is the absolute coolest!]

[So, does anyone still remember this is actually a Western fantasy manga about an overpowered protagonist?]
