"When I was young, I abandoned the righteous path and cultivated demonic arts to avenge a personal grudge. In the blink of an eye, six hundred years have passed."
"What, are you suddenly regretting it now?"
"No. I just wanted to say that being number one is really boring."

Mo Kulan, the greatest demon in the cultivation world.
His cultivation is unmatched under heaven. He finds no joy in being alive, yet has high attack, high defense, and a massive health bar. He can keep living, but he can't die.
...In this desperate situation, he pins all his hopes on Jiang Hui, the twenty-four-times-unfilial disciple who has a blood feud with him.
"Swing your sword ten thousand times every morning. That's how you keep your feel for it."
"You need a solid foundation when building your core. Suppress your cultivation level and keep practicing."
"You managed to condense sword energy. Your sword heart is still steady today. Good."
By diligently supervising his disciple's lessons every day, Mo Kulan believes all he needs to do now is wait patiently. His disciple will keep growing stronger and eventually finish him off with a single sword.

But his deeply resentful disciple suddenly gets possessed by someone from another world.
And the disciple in this brand-new version is a chatterbox:
He says his name isn't Hey, it's Jiang Jiang;
He is cheerful and sunny, with none of the original body's memories;
His thinking is chuunibyou, and his eyes reveal a clear, unmistakable foolishness.
He says, "Master, Master, Master, help, help, help, help, help, help, "

...It's over!
Content warnings:
* The story is told in a wicked first-person voice.
After trying several times to write from the usual third-person perspective, I realized the protagonist is way too much of a show-off when he's being cold and aloof. After much soul-searching, I decided to give up and go with the flow. If you fall down somewhere, set up a deck chair right there.
* A slapstick comedy that completely falls apart.
The cultivation parts don't feel quite right, and lowbrow jokes are everywhere. No guarantee you'll laugh. There are scenes that earnestly follow old-fashioned tropes full of obvious flaws. At this point, the only way to keep things going is to watch the brooding, twisted protagonist and his energetic, feral disciple outwit each other in bizarre places.
