After I Provoked the Household Deity

Blurb: Before returning to Manchester from Beijing, Chris was conned on the street by a strange Portuguese-speaking man. "Just take this porcelain vase home, and it'll keep your family safe and your parents healthy." Chris immediately thought of his father, who was already bedridden. So he promptly handed over five hundred pounds for the vase. Back at the hotel, Coach Ferguson told him he might have been scammed, but Chris still took the vase home. Later, a fox spirit emerged from the vase, insisting on becoming his family's guardian spirit. Not only did it fail to keep his parents healthy, it also threw his home into chaos! Chris cried out in frustration, "I'm sending you back to Beijing!" - After meeting Hu Yanchun, Chris's world went from the black and white of football to a riot of color. He didn't want any of those colors at all. After chatting with a staff member at the training ground whom he didn't recognize, a teammate asked him, "Why are you talking to the air?" Chris: "??? But they're..." He turned around and found that there really wasn't anyone there. Help! I really don't want to run into ghosts at the training ground again! + This story is basically unrelated to football. The author is an intense player fan, and Chris was the inspiration, so this unusual premise ended up being connected to him. Theme: True love conquers all
