Yoge woke up to find himself transmigrated into the body of an overworked young reporter at the Daily Planet.

He couldn't remember why he'd transmigrated. He only remembered one thing: he had to gather faith points.

So here's the problem:

1. Both he and the person he'd transmigrated into were ordinary people, albeit exceptionally good-looking ones.

2. He was on assignment in New York, and had run straight into the Battle of New York, with the Chitauri invading.

With a start like this, gathering faith points was the least of his worries. Would he even survive twelve hours?

The System's gacha required him to collect Impression and Reputation points, which went hand in hand with his goal of gathering faith points. It even came with a beginner's gift pack.

So Yoge used his twenty free pulls, got unbelievably lucky, and pulled a five-star character in his first ten-pull. Master Diluc showed up with his greatsword, charging to the rescue and cutting a swath through the enemy to get Yoge out of danger, while making a great first impression on the Avengers.

From then on, Yoge embarked on an endless gacha grind, trying to gather enough faith points in this dangerously superhero-filled world.

To earn enough Impression and Reputation points, he had no choice but to stir up trouble all over the world, staging scenes of himself killing himself in front of the entire planet and running three hollow organizations all by himself.

Yoge: This is so hard :)

Meanwhile, he also gave his real self a back door, shouldering a camera and chasing his own secret identities everywhere. He gathered firsthand information, wrote it up in reports, and shared it with the world. Before long, he had become the Daily Planet's star reporter.
