Something's Not Right in This Magical World

Winter transmigrated. He transmigrated into a world with magic. This world has arcana, and its arcanists seek the truth of the world. By all conventional logic, Winter should have become a mage, copied the formulas from his original world, advanced his arcane level, and become a grand arcanist who overthrows the Church. But... "I've forgotten almost everything I learned in science class." Winter picks up a pen and starts writing the history of his original world as a novel. His writing isn't great, but his imagination is boundless, so he manages to scrape by in this Western fantasy world. Overthrow the Church? Would that put dinner on the table? Pay off the mortgage? Get his manuscript revised? Who would dare say such things? Until the Church kicks down his door and declares, "You have attempted to fabricate the world. Your sin is Pride." Winter: ??? . "Lust must be a seductive succubus lady!" says the anime-obsessed Winter, eagerly recalling the adult anime he's watched. But Lust has no horns or fishnet stockings, wears no makeup, is not at all curvaceous, and isn't even a woman. A middle-aged man with a big beard and a bald spot turns to look at Winter in surprise. "Hello, I'm Lust Freud." Winter: ? So, Three Essays on the Theory of Sexuality, huh? "This is Wrath Einstein." Winter: ?? The guy who came up with the theory behind the atomic bomb, huh? "This is Envy Darwin." Winter: ??? The guy who said humans evolved from monkeys, huh? "This is Sloth Watt." "Gluttony Edison." "Greed Turing." Winter: ...There are too many things to mock. I can't even begin. Luckily, he never thought to copy the formulas from his original world. So all the great figures here became archmages, huh? Is there something seriously wrong with everyone's brains in this world?! And what has he done to deserve being Pride? [Execution List] Name: Winter (Mr. Coldwinter) Identity: Enchantment Arcanist, Seven Deadly Sins: Pride, Follower of Death Note: An unremarkable arcanist. In trying to deal with him, we were seduced into committing the sin of Pride."] [Report: This list was found at the site of the Pride Calamity. The person who defaced it died of fright.] Theme: Science is the primary driving force of development
