After Jiang Xiyu had been in the hospital for a full week, she got a new attending physician.

Word had it that Dr. Jiang, who shared her surname, was not only highly skilled but also stunningly beautiful. Anyone who saw her was instantly captivated.

When Dr. Jiang made her rounds, Jiang Xiyu was indeed transfixed.

Nobody had told her that this attending physician was Jiang Xuanxin, the woman she had been in love with for seven whole years.

2.

At fifteen, Jiang Xiyu's greatest wish was to be with Jiang Xuanxin forever, even if that forever meant only being her little sister.

But even that one wish couldn't come true.

Their blended family broke apart, and after graduating from graduate school, Jiang Xuanxin went abroad to join Doctors Without Borders.

As they parted, Jiang Xuanxin bent down to pat her head and smiled tenderly. "I'll always be your big sister."

When they met again years later, Jiang Xuanxin still trusted her and treated her like a little sister. After drinking too much at a dinner with her colleagues, she called only Jiang Xiyu.

When Jiang Xiyu arrived, Jiang Xuanxin was surrounded by a crowd, adorably tipsy, introducing her most well-behaved little sister to everyone. Jiang Xiyu stepped forward and nearly roughly pulled away the arm wrapped around her waist.

Under the shocked stares of the crowd, she smiled innocently. "Could you not touch her? I don't really like it."

- Her innocent mask fell away, her desire frank and unabashed. In full view of everyone, she kissed Jiang Xuanxin's hair. "Jiang Xuanxin is mine."

- Anyone who covets her can go to hell.
