Pretend Romance [Entertainment Industry]

[Sweet treats. VB: Tu Kaka] Jian You has been in the industry for seven years, winning countless awards for directing films. At the height of her success, with her position in the industry firmly established, she suddenly joins a dating reality show. According to rumors, she's going to fake a couple pairing with some obscure actress. Jian You's fans are furious: Some nobody better not come crawling to my girl and make a move on her, or we'll call it a cheap attempt to ride her fame! After the show airs: Wait, is my girl the one making a move on her...? Onlookers speculate that this obscure actress must have a very special background. Jian You's germophobia doesn't affect her. Jian You repeatedly breaks her poker face around her. Jian You's perfectionism is changed by her alone. Onlookers: The powerful big shot who can move heaven and earth changes for love vs. the sweet, clueless nobody chasing her idol. I'm so shipping them! Jian You's fans are furious: The nobody's rich family is paying for her to cling to Jian You. My girl is just making an artistic sacrifice to raise money for her film! Anyone shipping them has no heart. Then the next day, Jian You posts on Weibo: @Yun Chu I miss you. Fans: ? Didn't you just see each other yesterday? * Yun Chu once thought the most outrageous thing she'd ever done was throwing herself at Jian You, then running off after they slept together. But five years later, she outdoes herself: using an investment in Jian You's new film as leverage to make her join a dating reality show. Jian You agrees, but doesn't remember her at all. Until one day, Yun Chu corners Jian You somewhere the cameras can't reach and asks her, eyes red: "...You don't remember me?" Jian You lets out a slow "Ah," lifts a strand of her hair, and smiles nonchalantly. "That little girl." Spring breezes are easy to forget. But she remembers the crying that night all too well. The kite she let fly has wandered in circles, only to fall into her palm of its own accord. #Spending a fortune to fake-date your crush, only to get thoroughly devoured #She thought they were only pretending, but she couldn't be happier to do it #Mutual pining Cool, brilliant director x rich heiress in the entertainment industry's lower ranks Older woman, mutual pining, same-sex marriage setting Coming soon: Enemy Act[Entertainment Industry].
