Hey, Is This Melon Sweet?

Mulan was a technician at a private melon research institute. One day, she woke up in the past as the daughter of tenant farmers who grew crops for the emperor. The family had many children, her parents were incapable, and they were desperately poor. Then one day, the estate manager announced that a type of melon had been presented as tribute from the Western Regions. It had green skin, red flesh, and a sweet, juicy taste. The emperor loved it, so their estate would have to learn how to grow it!

Mulan's eyes lit up. Now was her chance to put her skills to use.
