[Western Crossover] Political Marriage

It was a political marriage.

That's what everyone in the cabinet thought.

A union between the Holmes and Robinson families.

Mycroft Holmes was a promising young man known to the cabinet. His uncle had once been Cabinet Secretary, and the Holmes family had been close to the royal family since the Tudor era.

Miss Roselyn Robinson, meanwhile, had a grandfather and maternal grandfather who had both served as Cabinet Secretary. Her father was an Italian diplomat, and her mother was a great writer of the twentieth century. Her political connections were formidable.

The two people at the heart of it all had rather interesting attitudes.

Mycroft: Heh. A bunch of goldfish.

Roselyn rests her chin in her hand: Well, they're not exactly wrong~

Mycroft turns to look at his wife's red hair with a frown. "Oh, Roselyn, that's your version."

Roselyn's emerald-green eyes turn to Mycroft. "So what's your version?"

Mycroft: Because you are my rose.

That rose alone was more special than all the others, because of the bond between them.

Childhood sweethearts who are sapiosexual.

The devil is also a prince, and that rose belongs to him alone.

Theme: Love lasts when both partners are equals.
