I Solve Cases by Adopting Stray Dogs [1990s]

At the end of the world, beast tamer Lian Yi was the one in her team who communicated with dogs. She understood dogs better than anyone.

Unfortunately, Lian Yi failed a mission and transmigrated into the body of a young police officer in Rongcheng in the 1990s.

Rongcheng was not only remote and short on supplies, but also rife with crime and murder.

Luckily, Lian Yi could still communicate with dogs.

Warmhearted golden retriever: Report! A bad guy is robbing someone at the street corner, forty-five degrees west! Requesting backup!

Lian Yi grabbed her baton and rushed over, only to find a Pekingese stealing a steamed bun from a stray cat.

Golden retriever: Not a single bad person, not a single good dog.

Scheming little Pomeranian: The killer dumped the body! The well is full of body parts! The killer is inhuman! This is a major case!

Lian Yi rushed to the scene and fished a piece of pork out of the well.

Little Pomeranian: Go cook it for me.

Chinese village dog: There's a murderer up ahead. You go first, I'll call for backup!

Trusting her partner completely, Lian Yi headed into danger without hesitation.

Ten minutes later, five Chinese village dogs sat by the roadside, each insisting the other go first.

"Big brother, you go first."

"No, no, you go first."

Lian Yi: I've had it! I can't put up with this for another minute!

After arriving in Rongcheng, Lian Yi solved countless cases and became a household-name police officer.

At the same time, with each case she solved, she took in a stray dog that had helped her. Soon she was living with a whole pack of dogs.

Everyone thought that with so many sweet little darlings by her side, Lian Yi's life must be wonderfully warm and cozy.

But every day, all she heard was:

"Mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, food, food, food, food, food, food, food, food, food, food, food, food, mommy, food!"

Lian Yi: Whoever wants to be the good guy can do it! I'm done!

Theme: Serve the country.
