After Kissing My Nemesis Before I Died

Su Yiyi had a childhood friend and sworn rival, Shen Li.

They were always at each other's throats and couldn't stand one another. They loved arguing and trading barbs, but had never actually fought.

Later, Shen Li fell to the demonic path, and chaos broke out in the demon realm. As a member of the righteous sects, Su Yiyi went to exterminate the demons.

Before Shura Peak, the righteous and demonic factions fought until heaven and earth darkened. Su Yiyi drew her sword against Shen Li.

After a few moves, her health bar hit zero and she fell.

Su Yiyi refused to accept it. If she died, Shen Li shouldn't get off easy either!

Suddenly, inspiration struck, and a wicked idea came to her.

Summoning the last of her strength, she scrambled to her feet and swiftly kissed her sworn enemy while he watched coldly.

Then she gazed at him with deep affection. "A-Li, I..."

Halfway through her sentence, Su Yiyi rolled her eyes back and toppled over.

Then she felt Shen Li scoop her up like a madman and run wildly, dodging the flashing blades.

She had thought she was sure to die, but when she opened her eyes again, she was lying in a clinic, with Shen Li glaring at her from beside the bed.

Shen Li gave her a half-smile. "You seemed to have something left to say before you passed out."

Su Yiyi: ...

Just let me die!
