An old completed fanfic, three years in the making, finally finished.
After taking the long way around, I spent a long time writing this. This story probably shows my growth and the changes in my style better than any other.
I posted a little of it on another account before, but I forgot that account's password.
For traffic:
The Beast's Cage (Completed)
We are forbidden to be good, forbidden to grow wiser!
Such a prohibition has no power to restrain us.
But if death uses the bonds we leave behind to hold us back,
can our inner freedom benefit from that?
Once we taste this wondrous fruit,
we are doomed to die!
"Then why doesn't the serpent die?"
He ate it, and yet he lives.
He understands, he can speak,
he can reason, and he can discern,
though he once had no reason.
Was death invented for us alone?
"Was death invented for me alone?"
Oppressed by absolute death and an unknown force, one must either join them and become wicked enough, turning into a bystander, a perpetrator, a bully... even a murderer; or calmly accept one's own death, becoming a martyr who cannot foresee the future but has escaped all restraint.
How should we choose? What should we choose?
Main characters: Bai Fenghua, Xu Minruo, Bai Ren
Theme: The prey always has a chance to fight back.
I don't understand it a bit, but I feel that the setting is very powerful. It took four years of hard work to create Sahua?
Ah, if the plan is disrupted or something, I will kill that person, for sure. The protagonist has such a good temper.
Did Hasebe have a plan for cutting this?
This article is really good, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
