Setting: Modern high-martial world. There are academy competitions early on, and the heroine will form a team and grow alongside its members. It’s something of an ensemble story.
Graduate Chen Zhaozhao has been having the same recurring nightmare: exams.
And the way she escapes her nightmare is simple: finish the exam.
But in the dream, her graduation exam is next month.
"Five Major Professions: Graduation Mock Exam on Purging Defilement", "Contaminated Creatures: Graduation Mock Exam"
She gets zeros in all the humanities theory subjects, and they make her cry.
Fortunately, she’s a genius at practical work, and takes first place in the exams for awakening her talent and choosing her profession.
Chen Zhaozhao cries tears of joy, thinking she can finally wake up and go home, when she gets bound to a System.
Oh, so she isn’t having a nightmare. She’s transmigrated to another world.
“Have you heard? The bottom-ranked Ninth District awakened an incredibly powerful healer!”
Students and important figures scoff. How powerful can a mere B-rank support be?
“I was wrong! I was wrong! Great Healer, please stop hitting me!”
At the academy competition, the students who’d looked down on them nearly fell to their knees and begged Chen Zhaozhao’s team to take them under their wing.
This is terrifying! Weren’t they supposed to be a team with a great healer? Why can a B-rank support hold her own against all of us and even awaken a resurrection skill? Is this a team students can actually beat?!
After that, every team came begging: “Great Healer! Resurrection skill! Please, please save us!”
Chen Zhaozhao: “Officers, I’m still a student…”
Teammates: “Who?! Who’s trying to steal the captain of our future team? Have you asked us first?!”
Content warning: There will probably be a lot of fight scenes?
The heroine is a little stubborn, and her character is just out of junior high. At first, she sees herself as an outsider, and only gradually starts to fit in. I want to write a coming-of-age story about young people burning with passion as they take on the world, so some of her choices may seem immature, or even a bit too compassionate.
Still figuring things out. To be continued.
*Setting: Support roles are the steadfast ones, while damage dealers come and go. Support roles are more popular than damage dealers.
*I’ll start writing when inspiration strikes.
*More to come when I think of it.
