[Great Song] Emperor Renzong's Only Son

Zhao Jing never imagined that he would go to sleep and wake up as the fictional fourth son of Emperor Renzong of Song.

Before his birth, one royal child after another had died in the palace. The first three sons had all died before the age of two, and not one daughter had survived apart from the eldest, Princess Fucheng.

Despairing, Renzong had nearly adopted a son from the imperial clan.

After learning about history, Zhao Jing resolved to work hard. He would start training from infancy and, in the future, crush the Wanyan clan and secure the Zhao family's rule.

But he hadn't expected his body to have been sickly from birth, with a minor illness every three days and a serious one every five.

From childhood, he was a frail invalid.

Everyone knew that the Prince of Qin was in poor health.

The court and the public alike watched to see when the prince would die.

On some day in some month, the Prince of Qin's horse was startled, and he urgently summoned the imperial physicians.

On some day in some month, the Prince of Qin caught a chill and his high fever wouldn't break.

On some day in some month, the Prince of Qin coughed up blood and fell into a coma.

Just as the ministers thought the Prince of Qin was finally going to die this time, the next morning at court, the prince was carried in to present a memorial. "Your Majesty, this subject believes..."

The ministers: "!" Why are you still alive?
