A Prison-Bound Detective Mentor

-- Worlds involved: [The world of Western classics (The Count of Monte Cristo, The Phantom of the Opera, Pride and Prejudice, Les Miserables, the Sherlock Holmes stories, and more)] [the Bungo Stray Dogs world] [the Final Fantasy VII world] [the Detective Conan world] [the DC and Marvel worlds] [and Lin Jiuyu's original world, which I haven't figured out yet], among others.

-- A simulator story. Lin Jiuyu is female, but there will be male counterparts. There is no romance plot, though the characters' sexual orientations are subtly diverse. Some canon couples will be broken up, but from Lin Jiuyu's perspective, she remains single throughout. (Readers with no particular limits who enjoy all kinds of pairings are welcome.)

-- Some worlds will have reveals about characters' gender. I want to write a male succubus heartthrob who is a seemingly harmless but secretly dark mastermind, only for everyone to discover that "he" is actually a woman. So what were all those beautiful people we sent to seduce "him" over the years supposed to be? Are we running a charity? Oh, what? You mean our people were seduced by a woman? Hahaha. (Laughing behind a mask.)

-- No outline, not a paid story, irregular updates. I'm letting my imagination run wild.

== The blurb below only concerns the Detective Conan world. The title does too. I'll add or change the rest after I've written it. ==

Lin Jiuyu transmigrated during the college entrance exam. After four years of barely surviving, her golden finger finally arrived.

[Welcome to the Detective Conan theater!]

[The Detective Conan Mentor System has been bound!]

[In an era when employment statistics are falsified year after year, what does a university still have to offer? A good mentor helps students find jobs, get good at their jobs, and build successful careers! Collect employment points from Detective Conan characters, and the exam board will convert them proportionally into bonus points for your college entrance exam!]

Lin Jiuyu, who had spent twelve years studying without ever learning about Detective Conan, had just graduated from the University of Society in London after four years of transmigration and had long forgotten what she knew. Now she'd suddenly received the wonderful news that the System would send her back to take the college entrance exam again.

"..."

She asked her collaborator to wait, then turned around with a ferocious smile. "When and where does the story begin?"

[January 5, 1994. Tokyo, Japan.]

"...Wow. What great news. It's 1839 in London right now."

Many years later, as Lin Jiuyu walked through the gates of a top university, the Detective Conan Mentor System opened its achievement list. For the umpteenth time, it was struck by the criminal code and covered its face in shame:

[1. The Organization's Mentor: The Uncrowned Culprit]

The unpublished manuscript, How to Build a Black Organization from Scratch, which you used to prop up a desk in your London home, was discovered by a boy.

A century later, a phantom-like transnational criminal organization silently appeared on the world stage.

-- Your unofficial student has become the Black Organization's Boss.

[2. Gin's Mentor: Shadow of the Silver Wolf]

Whether they are true believers or undercover agents, everyone says Gin is the Black Organization's most loyal dog.

Who knows?

After all, as long as he stays in the organization, his teacher will always be his partner.

Under the streetlights, Gin exhaled a puff of smoke.

-- Your student has become the Black Organization's Top Killer.

[3. The Criminals' Mentor: Mr. Mastermind]

You stop criminals. You guide criminals. You redeem criminals.

You save innocents on the eve of their deaths. You are the criminals' fervent pursuit. You dance alongside the emperor of crime.

Yet the greatest strategist leaves no trace of his achievements. The police know nothing of your good deeds, but rage at your evil reputation!

-- Your students are spread across the world, from the Victorian era to the present day... Their employment ratings are negative... They worship you fanatically!

[4. Kudo's Mentor: The Detective's Nemesis]

You toy with detectives. You hone their skills.

You are the mist detectives cannot catch, the nemesis they pursue all their lives.

Lin Jiuyu turned around helplessly. "Mr. Kudo, I have always obeyed the law, cared for small animals, and even helped an old lady cross the street last week. Why do you keep following me?"

Yusaku Kudo smiled through gritted teeth. "Have some self-awareness."

-- Your pursuer of more than a decade, who admits to being your student after receiving your invisible guidance, has become the White Curtain Consultant.
