Character setup: [Aloof, high-and-mighty flower of the Ruthless Dao VS a cunning, loyal demon] [A gradual, mutual redemption]
Blurb: Before the age of ten, Princess Jiang Zhiyin of Leping was lively and adorable, the unapproachable pearl of Luozhou City.
But after she turned ten, her temperament changed completely.
It was because they said the heir to Zezhou had died in the capital, and her elder sister had killed him.
Dark clouds loomed over the city. Jiang Zhiwan gave her life to appease Zecheng's wrath. From then on, Jiang Zhiyin had lost her sister and left her home.
After the upheaval in Luozhou, she was found to have a natural sword bone and was sent to Mount Fanchen.
On the day she entered the mountain, the sect leader asked her, "You may choose one of two paths: cultivate the Ruthless Dao or the Affectionate Dao?"
"The Ruthless Dao."
*
As the personal disciple of Buyangzi, Jiang Zhiyin thought her life would amount to cultivating, training, and seeking the truth behind what had happened in Luozhou. But one spring, when the gates of the immortal sect opened, Cang Wanqing arrived at Mount Fanchen. She suddenly had a junior brother, who cultivated the Affectionate Dao.
On his first night in the sect, he softly called, "Senior Sister," and brought her a bowl of warming soup, as if he had been standing there for a long time.
Jiang Zhiyin didn't think much of it and calmly accepted.
The next day, he pestered her to teach him the flying sword technique. Jiang Zhiyin was impressed by his extraordinary talent, didn't think much of it, and agreed.
Later, they went down the mountain together to train. Gradually, she realized that with Cang Wanqing around, Ziyun Peak seemed to have gained a little warmth and life.
It was also during their training that she discovered her sister's death seemed to conceal a shocking secret.
But before long, Jiang Zhiyin let her guard down and was ambushed, tumbling into a bottomless demon pit. When she awoke, Cang Wanqing's familiar figure was right in front of her. Her junior brother's dimples sank deep, and a glimmer seemed to ripple in his eyes.
In her eyes, he was the same, yet different.
Fragmented memories quickly flashed through her mind. Before she lost consciousness, Jiang Zhiyin remembered the faint blood-red mark between his brows and the merciless, sinister cruelty in his eyes, something she had never seen before.
She finally understood his feelings, too, and realized that the bowl of warming soup he'd brought her that spring had contained drops of blood from his heart.
Legend says the heart's blood of the nine-tailed fox clan can cure every illness.
In the body of the Demon Lord, he had accepted the risk without hesitation, and with gladness.
*
Cang Wanqing was not Cang Wanqing. His real name was Wanglou.
Wanglou was originally a nine-tailed fox demon. Ever since he could remember, the nine-tailed fox clan had been utterly at odds with the world, becoming the demons most despised by all.
But he didn't believe it.
After quelling the civil strife among the demon clan, he became the new Demon Lord and swore to make everyone pay for every drop of blood they had shed.
When he was a thousand years old, remnants of the demon clan rebelled. Betrayed by those close to him, Wanglou was gravely wounded and left to wander far from home.
He also suffered every humiliation the world could inflict.
Later, while fleeing his pursuers, he cut off one of his own tails. As he lay on the verge of death, someone reached out a fingertip and stroked his battered body.
The person who saved him was a little girl, the little princess of Luocheng.
She tended his wounds and gave him the best medicine, sincerely wanting to reattach his tail. She was the only light left in his dark world.
After his wounds healed, Wanglou gave her his severed tail, asking only that they meet again someday.
He waited for years.
Wanglou couldn't find her. When they met again, she was trapped in an abyss of shackles she didn't even know existed.
Wanglou told himself: If no one else will save her, then I will.
"He would use his filthy flesh and blood to melt the snow atop the mountain."
She Has a Demon by Her Side
Reason for entering the contest: The heroine is a princess of Luozhou. After a sudden upheaval, her elder sister is falsely accused and dies, and her parents grow estranged. Reading guide and content warnings
1. The story is more plot-focused, with the romance progressing gradually. Slow burn, slow burn!! The male and female leads aren't perfect; both have flaws in their personalities!
2. Cultivation levels: Qi Refining + Foundation Establishment + Golden Core + Nascent Soul + Transformation + Tribulation Transcendence + Great Ascension + Ascension + True Immortal
Each major level is divided into three minor stages: early, middle, and peak.
3. An ensemble story. Every character has a reason to be there.
4. No women competing against each other, and no pairing characters off just to make everyone a couple. The male and female leads communicate. Note: The heroine's elder sister isn't a bad person; there are hidden circumstances, and the sisters do not turn against each other.
5. The story has lots of twists!! Not a conventional power fantasy. The overall tone is light, but the underlying mood is heavy.
6. The characters' values do not represent the author's. The setting is full of personal additions, so please don't overanalyze it.
#Happy ending, both leads are each other's first and only
Pre-release: When the Immortal-Heart Herb Redeems the Villain
Blurb:
1
Jiang Yi was an immortal-heart herb at the summit of the ancient immortals, nourished for ten thousand years by a spiritual spring. Through an accident, she was born into the world. When she opened her eyes again, she found herself transformed into a swaddled infant, surrounded by a river of blood. Her instinctive cries got her killed.
When she awoke for the second time, she discovered she had transmigrated into a book as the villain, the master of Cangshan Peak. The original character was ruthless, especially toward her half-demon disciple, Shang Chiqing.
Shang Chiqing was the beautiful, strong, tragic second male lead in the story. He had been the legitimate son of the Heavenly Sword Palace, but after his entire clan was slaughtered, he had no choice but to go to Cangshan as the sole survivor. After becoming the original character's disciple, he suffered endless abuse and humiliation, and eventually fell completely to darkness and killed her.
And Jiang Yi had arrived right after she had beaten the second male lead hundreds of times with a discipline whip.
Jiang Yi: "..."
What should she do? Could she run away now?
For the sake of her life, the little immortal herb decided to mend her ways.
You want ruthless methods? Immortal artifacts, secret manuals, pills... I'll give you everything.
After five years, Jiang Yi had changed her former reputation and become Cangshan's "good person," until she died in the war between immortals and demons.
Just before she died, Shang Chiqing's voice suddenly rang in her ear.
With the last of her strength, she looked over. Shang Chiqing's pitch-black eyes were fixed on her. Amid the chaos, he wielded a pair of silver swords and slaughtered everyone in the area. His normally neat hair had come loose over his shoulders. He no longer cared about his appearance, charging toward her like a madman.
Jiang Yi's heart trembled, filling with relief and gratitude.
Look, I raised this villain!
2
Shang Chiqing was a half-demon, a mixed-blood abomination most despised by the world. He had once been the legitimate son of the Heavenly Sword Palace. Though his bloodline was impure, he had at least lived a life of luxury and happiness.
Until one day, all two hundred and eighty-eight members of the Heavenly Sword Palace were slaughtered.
Shang Chiqing struggled to stay alive until someone came to save him. The newcomer wore blue robes, and the gaze she cast down at him was as pitiless as a pool of autumn water. All he heard was a cold voice.
"Come with me."
Later, Shang Chiqing went with her to Cangshan and became her disciple.
At first, he always thought he had found a home. Later, he accidentally discovered that he was nothing more than a tool for her hatred of demons.
She despised him and punished him by sending him to the Cliff of Reflection, where she let others humiliate and torment him... Faced with endless pain, he accepted it all!
He secretly resolved to study forbidden arts so that one day he could kill his enemies with his own hands, including her.
But why?
She had changed again.
3
Shang Chiqing had a secret in his heart. Ever since Jiang Yi had beaten him hundreds of times, he had felt that she had become a different person.
Later, his suspicions were confirmed. But the impostor's true identity was still uncertain, so to avoid tipping her off, he decided to keep watching her.
He wanted to see just how long she could keep up the act.
He watched for years.
At last, one day, he couldn't resist asking her for the truth himself. But Jiang Yi said, "Your master will soon be going to the battlefield. While I'm away, take good care of yourself."
But in the end, Shang Chiqing never got his answer.
Later, Shang Chiqing held Jiang Yi's corpse in his arms, his eyes full of glimmering fragments.
4
A thousand years later, Shang Chiqing reached the peak of power. Rumor had it that he was free of feelings and desires, untouched by delusion or evil, the Immortal Venerable most revered by all.
But Jiang Yi alone knew it was all a lie!
On a cold, lonely, rainy night, she had only just snuck out when a forlorn face appeared before her.
In front of everyone, Shang Chiqing was a cold and aloof figure dressed in immortal robes. But he chased after her and gripped her waist, murmuring in an inscrutable voice beside her ear:
"Don't leave me, I beg you~"
#They say the Immortal Venerable, revered by all, has someone in his heart who is like the moonlight.
#How do you handle a disciple who's way too possessive?
Reading guide: 1. A fake cultivation-level-up story? Lighthearted and healing.
2. Written to satisfy my own cravings.
3. The setting is full of personal additions; this isn't a conventional redemption story. The male lead is a crazy, scheming black lotus.
4. The blurb has been screenshotted.
Theme: There is always someone who comes into your life to love you
