[Qin Dynasty] Honestly, I'm My Brother's Biggest Fanboy

This story is finished. I'd like to start a quick transmigration series, but I'm a junior in college and graduation is coming up, so I'm not sure when I'll be back. I should be able to post a preview, at least. I finally figured out where the red packet was. Today, guess A Xiu's lie or leave a long review. If you need to, try refreshing! About the classical Chinese section below: here comes my favorite part (rubbing my hands together). The first part is adapted from the epitaph Su Zhe wrote for his elder brother. The story of the two Su brothers promising to share a bed on rainy nights is so heartbreaking. I wrote the rest myself. "A tile walking beside a pearl" comes from "a pearl at one's side." I feel unworthy by comparison. Why include this? My theme was supposed to be the line about "my elder brother," but he wouldn't let me write it, so I expanded on it and added this introduction. The classical Chinese below is the theme I actually stand by! Ying Can, an economics student, opened his eyes to find a fair-skinned, delicate little boy clinging tightly to him. The boy said he was his elder brother and gave him the name Xiu Ying. Although Xiu Ying thought the name was too delicate for his self-proclaimed tough-guy image, he had been an orphan in his previous life and loved his elder brother, so he was willing to accept it. Xiu Ying stayed by his brother's side, from babbling as a toddler to being old enough to fight alongside him. Later, Xiu Ying finally met the mother his elder brother had always kept him away from, the mother who disliked him. That's when he learned that his brother's name was Zheng, and that they would soon be going to Qin. The little one was shocked. My brother is Ying Zheng! (Squeals like a groundhog.) Ying Zheng thought Xiu Ying was wonderful in every way, except that sometimes he was too kind. He cried for the naked people hauling earth to build dikes because they had no clothes, then was willing to spend a great deal of time making affordable clothing for the common people. Of course, he spent even more time working on weapons and equipment, and improving food production, because those were what his elder brother cared about. After all, Xiu Ying loved him most. Well, he loved Xiu Ying very much too. When I was very young, I could not yet speak. I had never seen my mother or father, only my elder brother. We depended on one another to survive. You carried me on your back, chewed meat for me, and fed me, protecting me and keeping me safe. When I grew a little older, you were wise and I was foolish. I studied under you, and you taught me without ever tiring. My elder brother loved learning from a young age. He was wise and bright, graceful and composed. As he grew, his bearing became ever more remarkable, radiant as the morning sun and beautiful as green waves. When I walked by his side, I often felt like a mere tile beside a precious pearl. From The Xianyang Bamboo Slips, Qin Can's Notes Here's the preview, hehe. A new story in the same series: I Only Want to Find My Brother, but Somehow I Always Become His Greatest Threat Xiu Ying is a young nobleman. He was supposed to travel through other eras for eighty years with his all-powerful elder brother. But he and his brother got separated. That's all right. He can look for him. Be brave, Can Can. Don't be afraid of hardship. The problem is, every time he finds his brother, he realizes he's been searching in the wrong direction from the very beginning. And every time he tries his hardest, he ends up causing his brother a huge headache. Going from partner-in-crime to greatest threat really is only a matter of heading in the wrong direction. Brother, please don't erase my memories next time. I'd really appreciate it! P.S. They're still close as ever, and the biggest boss is still His Majesty. It's just that Xiu Ying has the worst luck. Every time, he ends up on the opposing side. He's determined to find his brother and determined to trip him up. There's no System in this story, but there is a group chat on a phone. My family has a hereditary case of being weird. Hahaha. By the way, you don't need to read the previous story to enjoy this one. I just think those two are great, so I wanted to do something with them. It'll be a year before this story is ready. I can only start writing after my civil service exam. But I've already outlined two worlds. World One: The chaos at the end of the Qin dynasty Xiu Ying, a third-generation ruler protecting Qin, X Ah Zheng, the king of rebellion World Two: A fictional ancient dynasty Xiu Ying, a nobleman's son who studies hard to save the country and restore order to a crumbling dynasty, X Ah Zheng, an emperor of an enemy state with a million troops who insists on invading the south Xiu Ying: The harder I try, the unluckier I get. A real-life case of heading south by driving north. A serious introduction: Either sit high in the palace hall or end up a prisoner. I hoped I had found you, so I took the high seat, so I had to keep moving forward. Then I took on the responsibility, and then I really did become your greatest threat through my own efforts. If you round up and count to eighteen, I'll admit something embarrassing: I could be the one in your heart. Ah Zheng: You're not exactly my greatest threat. I just think you're working so hard that if I kill you in one stroke, you might cry yourself to death. Xiu Ying: My love was misplaced. Important members of my family's hereditary weirdness: Ying Yue is the second-generation emperor, the heir chosen by Ah Zheng. He's Gao's son and has no children. He likes sleeping and is rather lazy. In other ways, he's a lot like Ah Zheng. The third-generation emperor is the son of his younger brother Jiashu, who died young. He loves weapons and warfare, and is an absolute war fanatic. The fourth-generation emperor is the daughter of the third. She studies chemistry, hates her father, and loves making bombs. The fifth-generation emperor is the son of the fourth. He studies physics, has a remarkable talent for mechanics, and loves fluffy things. The sixth-generation emperor loves calligraphy and painting, but is a dim-witted third-generation emperor. The seventh-generation emperor is a communist and an artsy young man. Yin Man, Fusu, and A Zhi can all talk. Also, A Xiu has brought along a lot of people. The phone he brought uses solar batteries, and so he can livestream to the group chat. He also brought the mobile network developed by the fifth-generation emperor, so he can stay in contact with Fusu and the others the whole time. Ah Zheng brought nothing but his little brother and a phone. The phone broke, and then he lost his little brother. Theme: Family bonds bring warmth, and warmth gives people the strength to move forward.
