[JoJo's Bizarre Adventure] Transported to Golden Wind the Day Before the Exam

My name is Lin Xu. I study applied chemistry at XX University in Tokyo, Japan. While staying up late to prepare a cheat sheet for an exam, I passed out from low blood sugar. When I woke up, I had transmigrated to Italy in 1988, and there was something called a System in my head. The System told me that if I couldn't complete my mission, I wouldn't be able to return to my world. I would be stuck here in misery, and might even face an even worse outcome: death. On the other hand, if I completed the mission successfully, then when I returned, I'd automatically jump to the point in time when I'd earned my PhD and found a high-paying job with an ideal four-day workweek. I'd also have all the necessary knowledge placed directly into my brain without having to study. It sounded pretty good, actually.

With the thought, What else can I do? Everything's already been arranged for me, I began my own wondrous adventure. Before it started, I was excited, thinking I had the advantage. After all, three years ago, during the pandemic, I'd watched the first five parts of JoJo and could still remember most of the plot. But reality soon gave me a good thrashing. In the midst of immense pain and despair, I awakened my Stand ability. Later, I met some wonderful teammates, though things ended badly between us.

My former teammates weren't just characters I liked. They were also the key to my getting home. After completing the final mission, I made it back to my world. Since completing the mission meant that my memories of my original world would return while my memories of the JoJo world would be sealed away, I completely forgot everything that had happened in JoJo, as well as the System.

But just as everything was proceeding smoothly, exactly as the System had said it would, all kinds of stray cats began appearing outside my door from time to time. Each one had the traits of a different member of the assassination squad from JoJo Part 5, which I love. And on the full moon a few days after I adopted them, they started turning into human form now and then. I was completely flabbergasted.
