Yi Zhu was hailed as a once-in-a-millennium genius in the cultivation world. But after suffering a grievous injury, all his meridians were crippled and his cultivation vanished.
When he awoke from his coma, however, Yi Zhu discovered that he had been bound to a rather perverted System.
The System told him that if he would just humor his nemesis, his meridians could be restored and his cultivation might even improve dramatically.
Yi Zhu: No way.
He'd rather die! Die out there! Become useless! He would never bow his head or yield to that damn bastard! Never!
After plummeting from the heights into the dirt, Yi Zhu had no shortage of people in the cultivation world waiting to laugh at him.
Zeyu Academy opened its doors once every three years, bringing young cultivators from every sect together to spar and make friends. But this time, the academy saw the former prodigy come face-to-face with his nemesis, Wenren Zhuo.
Who didn't know that Yi Zhu and Wenren Zhuo were at odds and always started fighting whenever they met?
Bystander A: They're about to fight!
Bystander B: Can Yi Zhu even fight now that he's a cripple?
The System waved its paws: Host, go get him! Humoring him will restore you to your peak! Put up with it now, and you'll live the high life. Take a step back, and you can do whatever you want!
Under everyone's watchful eyes, Yi Zhu took one step after another toward Wenren Zhuo. His tone was even more hostile than usual. “Hey! What's with blocking my way? You want another fight?!”
His power was completely gone anyway, and he had only one life left. A barefoot man has nothing to fear from one wearing shoes. Draw your sword!
[Ding!]
A crisp notification rang out in his mind:
[Initial mission complete! Target's mood value increased by 20. Reward issued!]
Then the System cried out in delighted surprise: “Aah! Sweetie, your meridians have been repaired!”
Yi Zhu: ???
